Isabelle and Sierra down near Nephi, Utah. It was fun camping with the whole family and some friends. We went to the rodeo first, which was fun. Good thing Emma likes the front pack or it would have been really hard now that she's walking. Up at camp, it was late but we roasted marshmallows and hotdogs, and made s'mores. The boys sure love burning things, lol. We didn't all sleep in the tent; it wasn't very comfortable at all. It was really cold, too. Not to mention the space. Dan took Isabelle and slept in the van. Jacob made the campfire in the morning. He is such a good cub scout. Dan had worked 22 hours and 3 hours sleep, and then more work over the phone before we could leave the day before, and with the bad sleep that night, he was tired. So while he took a nap, the rest of us took a hike and played by the river. Those spiders are huge! When the rest of the party came back from town, we chilled and then ate lunch and played cards, skipping the swim back at town. We left a little earlier than planned so Dan could pack for Brazil. Maybe the trip would be better if we had more time and more sleep. All in all, I think it was worth it. I just like making memories together and being out of the house and in nature.
